Visiting the Irish College
Pilgrims have made their way to Rome since the dawn of Christianity. In addition to its primary role as a house of formation, the Irish College has welcomed and assisted visitors from Ireland and beyond since its foundation in 1628. Today, the College is pleased to continue to offer a Céad Míle Fáilte to individuals and pilgrimage groups who may wish to visit. Sunday Mass at the Irish College
Sunday Mass at the Irish College is celebrated at 10:00AM in English each week.
Pilgrims, visitors, and locals are warmly invited to join our college community in gathering around the Eucharistic table. After Mass, all are welcome to enjoy tea, coffee, and pastries on our Loggia—a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff and students.

Finding the Irish College
The Pontifical Irish College is located on Via dei Santi Quattro, near Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano and the Lateran Basilica. Standing in the centre of that Square, you will notice a long, two-storey building with a small clock-tower directly opposite the side entrance to the Lateran Basilica. Leaving the Square behind, take the street to the right of this building (as you face it), and remaining on the left side of the street, you will almost immediately notice Bar L’800 on your right and 50 metres further on there is the Irish College, with green gates, with ‘Collegio Irlandese’, ‘Coláiste na nGaedheal’ inscribed on the gates. The bell is on the pillar on the right.
